Creative Commons is an online platform where you can download and share digital content legally, you can let people know about your work and to edit or re-use your work. Creative Commons Licence helps and allow us to share our work and edit or re-use under license through free legal tools. The organization offers a variety of licenses to determine which copyrights are reserved by the copyright owner and which are shared by others. I found this tool quite interesting.
Another interesting media file repository organization (Wikimedia Commons) provides a media file repository “that makes available public domain and freely-licensed educational media content to all, and that acts as a common repository for the various projects of the Wikimedia Foundation.”
There are different licenses available on Creative Commons website. I uploaded my work on http://www.flicker.com and i choose two different licenses for my pictures
For my first picture (Moon_Light), I choose Commons Attribution 4.0 International License.
