Keeping in mind that we are planning and delivering education to the adult students of bachelor’s degree at university of applied sciences where students learn by doing, aiming to establish a supportive learning environment, each student should have the feeling of connectedness and our focus was to address learners’ needs.

Planning and selection of teaching at university of applied sciences provides education based on the requirements of working life and learning by doing methodology mostly being used. During my practical teaching session at Centria University of Applied sciences, my teaching methods involved practical orientation and students were expected to take responsibility for their learning, we also designed different interactive activities for refreshing and engaging student’s thoughts towards their learning.
Safe and interactive Classroom environment: As Classroom was well equipped with a projector, internet connection, sitting arrangements were designed in a way that every student could easily focus on the projector screen and to the teacher. If students have been given a group task, they can change sitting arrangements according to their convenience for their group work. Considering students differ in abilities and interests, I arranged interactive activities and question answer session to engage them and for their better learning. After student’s presentation, we discussed different key points, lacks and positive points, so that student can learn better, it also helps others to learn where they feel they are lacking. We also were focused to provide open ended learning environment for them for their optimal learning. It was indeed a safe, supportive, and interactive environment for teacher and students.
